VinVoyage trips combine wonderful wine, food, and education. Each version attempts to provide an understanding of place of origin, varietals, and winemaking methods.

While specifics and itineraries of our trips vary by region, here are some differences amongst VinVoyage trips.

Grand Cru
Weeklong international trips curated and personally led by chef/sommelier Ian Adamo.

Check into a top-tier hotel (ex., Michelin Key-rated or luxury chainscale such as Relais & Chateaux, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental) Saturday night.
The week will comprise visits to coveted wineries and tasting rooms. Capacity limits on those visits often require us to restrict group sizes.
Master classes on a wine theme or topic led by Ian
Wines featured during classes and meals will be benchmarks/some of the most sought-after wines
Dinners will feature a mixture of local cuisine as well as Michelin-rated or similar-level restaurants.
Bid farewell on Sunday.

Premier Cru
International trips lasting 3-4 days, designed to efficiently cover our agenda. Ideally paired sequentially with other VinVoyage trips (ex. Champagne-Paris, Burgundy-Rhone) or so you launch off into your own adventures before/after.

Led by a combination of local experts as well as a VinVoyage host
Hotels will prioritize comfort and location rather than destination luxury.
Wines and visits are focused on highlighting educational goals
Meals held at bistros and local favorites rather than formal coursed meals

Lieu dit
Weekend/day trips to our favorite areas such as Paso, Napa, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, New York. These really will be unique/specific trips zeroing in on a locale.
